Beginners Birdwatching Course 2018

If you’re looking for a way to refresh your birding skills or if you are completely new to the world of birdwatching, why not take part in the Beginners Birdwatching Course 2018. The course will be running from Thursday 1 March to Thursday 24 May - 6:30pm-8:30pm, and it is open to both RSPB members and non-members. The course aims to get you started with choosing equipment and how to identify common birds. Price: £68 Adult RSPB Members, £78 Adult Non-Members

Spring Birdwatching and Wildlife Photography 2018

If you’re looking to combine your love of bird watching and wildlife photography, then the Spring Birdwatching and Wildlife Photography event is the perfect answer! Join other passionate outdoorsman for 2 and a half days of bird watching and photography. Snap amazing images of North and East Yorkshire’s best-loved species of bird and build your wildlife photography portfolio. Running from the 10th-13th May - starting at 2:00 pm - £385

Amble Puffin Festival

The Amble Puffin festival is being held from the 26-28th May 2018 and celebrates everything to do with one of the UK’s most beautiful birds! This festival allows you to catch a glimpse of the stunning puffins of Coquet Island whilst enjoying fun rides and activities, which are perfect for the whole family.

Birdfair 2018

The Birdfair is by far the biggest event held within the birding community. Running from the 17th August, right up until the 19th August, you will have the opportunity to meet up with passionate bird enthusiasts and browse the many stores on offer.
