With Nest Box Week fast approaching, it’s time to get our gardens prepared to welcome this year's new hatchlings!
National Nest Box Week runs from the 14th to the 21st February every year and aims to help provide safe and warm places for our birds to start their new families.
During this period, all bird lovers are encouraged to put up their own nest boxes, whether that’s in the privacy of their own home or even joining together with a local community!
Why is National Nest Box Week so important?
With natural habitats slowly disappearing, it’s important that we replace the bushes, trees and buildings these nesting birds once called home.
By putting up a greater number of nest boxes, we are providing alternative places for our British birds to rest up and build their nests. It’s hugely important in order to preserve our beloved breeds of birds and it only takes a minute to put one up!
What is Kennedy Wild Bird Food doing to help?
To support National Nest Box Week, we have teamed up with 3 of our favourite bloggers to give away a few nest boxes!
Get your hands on one of our lovely nest boxes, by visiting one of our competition partners below. Then, just follow the instructions on the blog to enter into their competitions!
Don’t forget to check out our store for all your other Nest Box Week supplies!
Also, make sure to log any beautiful birds you spot using our BirdSpotter!
